Our 100% Organic and Fairtrade Peruvian Coffee is carefully sourced from local cooperative where most of the smallholder farms are 3 hectares or less.
Coffee was originally grown in Peru only for domestic consumption and was not exported until 1887.
The coffee trees for our Peruvian beans are grown using traditional organic farming methods and no chemical inputs among other (non-coffee) species shade trees. Harvesting takes place from April to September at altitudes from 1200 – 1800 masl.
This washed process coffee has smooth body, low acidity and a very pleasing clean & flavourful mouthfeel on the palate.
100% Arabica – Bourbon, Sachimor, Catuai & Typica varietals.
Tasting Notes:- Toasted Nut, Subtle Orange and Milk Chocolate.
